For the LONGEST time I felt like I wasn't really seeing any new numbers on the scale. Last week, I went to the gym 6/7 days and finally saw a 2 pound loss, taking me OUT of the 60's. My knees are sore, my feet are sore and now I have a HUGE blister on the back of my left foot. WHY? Because I can't wear heels.
No matter where I buy them, how much I spend, how comfortable they feel at first - they ALL dig into my heels. I've bought bigger and wider and it still doesn't help. I've tried boring Naturalizer, Aerosoles, Sofft, Nine West, Kenneth Cole. NOTHING. They all leave me with blisters on my heels. I've used those little strips to put in the back to help them from rubbing against my heel and that doesn't even do anything. I'll stick with flats. I have one pair of black heels that I can tolerate. They're broken in and really comfy. The only thing is that I bought them in Paris and can't find anything remotely close here. Maybe after I lose (A LOT) more weight I'll be able to try looking again. I ended up wearing a pair Friday and Saturday night though and TORE up my left ankle. They were fine Friday night but Saturday about 10 minutes into wearing them ... I could already feel it digging in. The result? A giant hole of yuck on my ankle. :( Band-aids NEVER stay on when I try and use them on the back of my foot. As soon as I start walking it'll rub right off against my shoe so this time I slathered on some New Skin. Have you heard of this stuff?? It's like a liquid band-aid that you brush on. It looks like a tiny bottle of nail polish. It burns like crazy at the beginning but forms a protective layer over the open wound. It's the only thing I've found that helps the past two years. Afterwards I slapped a band-aid on and wrapped it. I wrapped it yesterday and was able to walk just fine. I walked 4 miles around town because the weather was GORGEOUS! Today it's a little sore so I continued to wrap it and am going to try and do some elliptical tonight.
Does anyone have any heel recommendations?!
I also joined Weight Watchers on Sunday. I feel like the points system will help me in regards to HOW much to eat. The program seems pretty simple but I REALLY WISH their online site were a little more USER FRIENDLY. I have to scope it out again tonight but so far it just seems like too much action on one page.
Is anyone else using Weight Watchers? I'm confused right now whether or not the entire online program is INCLUDED in your 39.99 monthly pass?? I keep seeing it advertised when I login to my account.
Goals for this week include:

I completely understand the problem with heels. I can't hardly wear them. I've decided til I lose a LOT of weight, I'm going to stick with my Clarks that make me feet feel good. It's not worth being miserable for days after wearing heels!
