Training tomorrow

There are usually a number of bells and whistles included when you sign up for a new gym membership. Mine happens to include:

- personal training session
- body assessment test
- one on one yoga session.

Tomorrow I'm going doing the first two. It's been a while since I've done any training and I'm not gonna lie when I say I'm a bit nervous. Who enjoys getting a fitness assessment?! I mean ... honestly. I know I'm NOT FIT. It's one thing following my own (simple) routine and getting through that.

My trainer emailed me tonight with the following:

NO coffee two hours before UGHHHHH.

NO running , meet me at the front desk all calm. We need to check your heart rate and you have to be relaxed...
Riiiiiight.

I can't even remember the last time I checked my heart rate. Probably 6 months ago when I was really sick? The exact number seems to fail me at the moment but I know I can never sit there, relaxed, while it's being done. For some reason, I always get tense and they have to do it at least three times. Even when I check it myself at the self-serve stations they have at CVS etc... I'm STILL tense.

It doesn't help that I'm working late tonight and have 10,000 things to do when I get home. BF's dad is in town this weekend which means I have two and a half days of work to cram into one. Fun.
